Some Nigerians on Twitter have christened the SAN ‘Senior Assassin of Nigeria’.
Nigerians have criticised Festus Keyamo for accusing the Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of plans to stage his own assassination to get sympathy votes.
“We are also aware that plans are afoot by Mr Peter Obi to fake an assassination attempt on himself and hire Labour Party boys dressed in APC caps and T-shirts to attack some Labour Party offices,” Mr Keyamo said in a statement on Monday.
Since making this comment, Nigerians on Twitter have continued to knock Mr Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), now christening him ‘Senior Assassin of Nigeria’.
Sharing Mr Keyamo’s photo on a post, a Twitter user @itzz_blitz1 captioned it: Senior Assassin of Nigeria (SAN).
Another Twitter user, @torty_mercy wrote: “Ya’ll meet the Senior Assassin of Nigeria! @fkeyamo. Retweet to greet him.”
The junior minister of Labour, Mr Keyamo also doubles as the spokesman for the 2023 presidential campaign of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
